Form over function- for this money it could be both! This is one of the least fit for purpose items I have bought recently. It is the the opitomy of ” form over function”. In the spirit of giving a balanced review I will give it it’s due; it looks cool, it’s different from most bins on the market, and it’s a bit of a talking point. However, there has been no thought into its primary use. You can’t fit bin bags securely to the individual sections. The flaps don’t direct the waste into the sections of the bin properly. Most frustratingly the handles of the internal section of the bin , sit on the inside , meaning that when you lift the bin bags out they are torn by the handle! You cannot separate the sections within the bin, because essentially it is just cylinder with a with a fixed metal divider, making it useless for using as a recycling bin as you have to use a bag- which will then tear. I emplore you not to buy this. We wish we could send it back. We wish we could talk to Wesco about why they continue produce such an inferior…
